I like this book because of how it shows no matter how hard you fight attraction it will always be there. I also liked how caley and jake have a friendship first and then they became lovers. I like also the way that even before they became lovers it showed others what a good relationship looked like. this is a book that I would recommend to anyone.

Chill out and enjoy

If you want to have a pleasant flight before you go to your plane buy this book and enjoy it. Don't expect a great plot but having a good time is the gist of reading and with this book you'll have it.

Reminiscingly Sexy--4-1/2 Stars

Visiting home from her city life, Caley Lambert is found in bed with her old-neighborhood-friend, Jake Burton. Amusingly, her teen-aged brother has no compunctions about announcing it to the family over breakfast. After the not-so-innocent encounter, Caley and Jake each begin to realize that after 11 years, there is more to their feelings for each other than either of them initially realized. Not wanting their families to know, they get together in secret and begin an affair. During their time together they reminisce about their relationship since they met at the age of thirteen. As the relationship progresses, they come to realize they've really been waiting for each other all along. But how could they pursue anything long term when she has a lucrative job in the big city while he lives in a small town? A good sexy story that will nostalgically bring you back to your teenage years while keeping you romantically and humorously entertained.

Oh that's nice

Caley and Jake have known each other since childhood. They grew up together and spent their summers together at their family's summer homes. As a teenager, Caley had a crush on Jake and when she was 18, right before she left for college, Caley tried to take their relationship to another level. However Jake turned her down and mortified, Caley went to NY to college and stayed there, never seeing Jake again after that fateful night. It's now 11 years later. Caley's younger sister and Jake's younger brother are getting married and Caley and Jake are both in the wedding. What will happen when Caley sees Jake again? Will she feel anything for him? Well, she's going to find out really quickly as this book is part of the "wrong bed" series where in this case, the heroine exhausted from her long flight accidently gets into a bed where she thinks her sister is but instead the hero is there. Harlequin romances can be a hit or miss proposition. So many can be a miss - the books have little character development and concentrate instead on the sex. Or they have more character development but the sex isn't steamy enough, you just don't care about the characters, or the situation is just plain silly. Your Bed or Mine is a hit. It takes on the familiar plot of a couple who knew each other when they were younger and meet again years later. Combine that with the "wrong bed" premise so that the "what will happen when the meet again?" question gets answered very quickly. However, instead of just concentrating on the sex (which you would expect with the wrong bed premise), the author does a great job of creating interesting characters that you can relate to, along with realistic conversations and situations. Don't get me wrong - there's some steamy sex. But it flows with the story and the characters. This is one of those romances that after you read it, you think "oh, that was nice." This was my first Kate Hoffmann book and after reading this, I'll be sure to check out more of her books.
