Every 18 seconds another Baby Boomer turns 50 and confronts that dreaded milestone: middle age. But the "Me Generation" seems to be defining middle age based on a projected life span of 120 years. In... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book contains many very funny observations about getting older. I got this book for my 40th birthday, but I'd say it's a bit more pertinent for people in the 50+ age range. Nevertheless, I got a kick out of it and it's a good coffee table book that always amuses guests when they come over.
Middle Age Review

I received this on my 40th birthday. I have enjoyed it as a bathroom reader for several years now. Guests always pick it up for a quickie and I can hear them chortling through the door..... Fun and Funny and Dead on. Still relevant though written some years back. Who is counting? I give it as "bathroom stuffer gift" for milestone celebrations to my Babyboomer friends and family. Big print so the young folks can read it too. It's a good bet that your friends will enjoy the humor. Just listen at the bathroom door for the appreciative chuckling.
Hilarious

Bought three more of this book to give to friends after reading it. So (unfortunately) appropriately funnny and accurate. Had a great time reading it and relating...The authors captured the perfect way to make things that happen in middle age funny... great to read in short spurts when you are killing time or to read all at once because you can't put it down!
Didn't Know Whether to Laugh or Cry!?

After having spent the past week reading weighty political and science books, I decided to give my mind a rest this weekend. Someone gave me this book a while ago as a gag gift and I decided to read it for some laughs. I laughed, but at times thought more like crying. This book really does (sadly) let you know when you've reached middle age. A great "gift" for that someone in your life who isn't as young as they used to be!

Alan Corcoran adds his piercing dry wit to Joey Green's free spirited Lampoon humor to produce an all too truthful hilarious read.
