Gave me many hearty laughs

First of all, don't be offended by this book. It's only meant to make you laugh. If you read it with that in mind, you will be greatly amused. Some of the jokes in this book are pretty crude, like this one: "Yo' daddy is so stupid, he has to pull down his pants to count to eleven." Children under 12 years old shouldn't read it. If you frequently get into insult wars, this book is your proverbial Bible. Yes, it even has a couple of books pertaining to God's Word: "When God rained intelligence down on Earth, you were holding an umbrella." If you are depressed or have a recurring nightmare you need distraction from, this book is for you. For me, I read it when I'm feeling particularly freaked out by what Sylar has been doing on the TV show "Heros."

Not for kids

I bought this for my niece who currently loves trading innocent "Yo Mama" jokes with my husband. I wanted to read through a few jokes before I gave this to her and I am glad I did. Many of the jokes are too adult (re: sexual in nature) for kids. It's a funny book, but not for kids.
