Yes They Can: A Montessori Guide to Behavior Management

The Yes They Can method was born out of my desire to better serve preschoolers with 'challenging' behaviors. As a fierce advocate of 'feelings are always okay', I never liked things such as, time out chairs, or banging erasers. As a Montessori guide, I knew how to write a lesson and I knew how to make materials. The only thing missing was deciding what lessons were actually being asking for with their challenging behaviors.

Yes They Can to the rescue. This binder is the restult of my asking that question, "What lesson are they asking for?" EVERY time I was met with behavior that needed to change that also fell outside the lessons I learned to give in my teacher training.

It is ever changing and always evolving.
