Wonderful story, and mixed art....

The Claremont/Lee chapters are some of the best x-stories I have ever read...too bad people like Liefeld penciled some issues.. his work looks reaaaaally awful compared to Jim Lee's..

X-Tinction Agenda: A Must Read!!!

One of the best X-Men storylines ever! It centers around the 3 x-teams (X-Men, X-Factor, and the New Mutants) being captured by the state of Genosha, a neo-nazi place. Cameron Hodge, a cyborg enemy wants to execute them for high treason against Genosha, but secretly hopes to wipe out ALL mutants off this planet. Lots of events happen, such as internal bickering between the teams, a kiss between Jean Grey and Wolverine, Cyclops v.s. Havok (his brainashed brother) and tons of action. Also, it was really emotional as Warlock is killed by Hodge, and Wolfsbane and Storm are transformed into mindless Genoshan slaves, called Mutates. This is one awesome storyline, and you just HAVE to read it!!!It contains 9 issues:Uncanny X-Men #270- Storm, Boom Boom, Rictor, Wolfsbane, and Warlock are captured.New Mutants #95- Powerless, the captured mutants escape, while Warlock dies and Wolfsbane is captured again.X-Factor #60- The rest of the x-teams go to Genosha, where Cyclops fights his brother Havok.Uncanny X-Men #271- Wolverine, Psylocke, and Jubilee arrive at the scene and help save Boom and Rictor. Wolverine and Psylocke attack the citadel, only to be captured, while Storm is turned into a mutate.New Mutants #96- Half of the remaining X-Men attack, but are rendered powerless and get captured. Meanwhile, Wolfsbane gets transformed into a mutate.X-Factor #61- The remaining X-Men (except for Boom Boom, Ric, and Jubilee) attack, but end up powerless and captured.Uncanny X-Men #272- The captured X-Men are put on trial and found guilty. Hodge then begins to torment them, but realizes there are traitors among Genosha. Storm is releases of the mutate bond, and restores Cyclops' power, who then attacks Hodge.New Mutants #97- The free kids continue to delve deeper into Hodges' laboratory, and meet up with some of the X-teams (who got their powers back), but are attacked by Hodge.X-Factor #63- The conclusion, where all the mutants attack Hodge, and finally, he dies.

This X-men Mini-series Collects the Nine part X-men cross-over that runs threw Uncanny X-men, New Mutants and X-Factor. This comic book cross-over was Written by Chris Claremont, with Art supplied by Superstar Artists Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld. Genoshan Leader Carmon Hodge and Genosha are out to prescue all Mutants to death. It's up to the X-men to stop this Genoside before they all die. Many character deaths are in this mini-series. The New Mutants member, Warlock was one major fatalities in this story. This features the early Marvel comics artwork of Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld. The first and greatest X-Men book I've read

The X-Men are in my opinion the greatest comic book superhero team of all time. This graphic novel, X-Men:X-Tinction Agenda, was an awesome read! The storyline is that the X-Men, X-Force, and the New Mutants get captured and enslaved by the neo-nazi-like Genoshan government and the sinister cybernetically grotesque supervillain, Cameron Hodge, and thus become plunged in a nightmarish situation that they alone must find a way out of. I don't want to say anything more because I don't want to spoil the plot! This is a must-have for any X-Men fan!!

An incredible tale with epic ramifications to the X-Universe

This is by far the greatest crossover event in the history of the X-books. Jim Lee supplies most of the art, and Chris Claremont writes. The saga centers around all the X-teams(X-men, X-Factor, New Mutants)being captured by Cameron Hodge and enslaved on the island of Genosha. We witness the deaths of a few comrades, as well as a rebirth for other characters. This story arc is essential to any collector that wishes to learn about the X-Universe...as this is the first time that many of the characters meet eachother after monumental member changes to the X-Men. This story arc has it all: Drama, suspense, great art, and an engaging story that will leave you breathless!
