Book Overview

Two men from the Cowboy State...and the women they love Denim and Diamonds Rancher Chase Brown has always loved Letty Ellison, but nine years ago she left their small town, searching for a different kind of life. Now she's come home to Red Springs, her dreams in tatters--and a five-year-old child in tow. She's ready to trade the false glitter of Hollywood for the true happiness of being a rancher's wife. Chase's wife. Is it too late? The Wyoming Kid Rancher Lonny Ellison is a former rodeo cowboy who's used to the adulation of women. But that's something he doesn't get from Joy Fuller. In fact, they argue constantly. His sister, Letty, says it's because he's interested in Joy...and Lonny figures she's right. Can he convince Joy that marriage to the Wyoming Kid will be as exciting as an eight-second bull ride?

Endearing and page-turning

This is my first Debbie Macomber book. I enjoyed the two novellas a lot more than I expected to, especially the second story. I thought I'd hate the Wyoming Kid, but I ended up enjoying it even more than Denim & Diamonds. I was turning pages halfway in, and couldn't put it down.

Debbie Macomber western novel

This is a warm and cuddly novel, typical of Debbie Macomber. Her characters are well developed and very believable. Lots of Macomber humor is evident. Readers will appreciate this typical Macomber novel.

Great Read!

This was my first Debbie Macomber book and I loved it. There are 2 stories in this book but they both relate and coincide with each other. The first part of the book "Denim & Diamonds" was my favorite. "Denim & Diamonds" is the character developer for the next part of the book "The Wyoming Kid". They were both easy reads and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't want to giveaway parts of the book but if you are a romantic you will love this book. I look forward to reading my next Debbie Macomber.

Awesome

This was a very good book. It keeps the reader glued to the book to the end. I can't give Debbie Macomber enough praise.

Wyoming Brides

The book was an o.k. read. Debbie writes very clean cut books. On the exception that she could have given a little more this book was good. Denim and Diamonds character Chase was a little overbaring at times, but he had a complex from when Letty left him before. The kid totally stole this book. This book was defiantly the best out of both. The Wyoming Kid's Lonny and Joy hardly had any romance, sure they end up together, but it felt like there was no relationship. He said your mine, and that's that. Nothing realistic about it. Guys can't get away with stuff like that now days.
