Writing With God

Writing can be worship born from intimacy with God. Not only writing, but all artistic expression can spring from trust in God for inspiration, process, and results. When our communion is with Christ, we express creativity as children of God, and so we are free to create without fear or comparison. Writing with God is a lifelong journey in which our art may be honest, with integrity, and humble. These produce literature and art that result in the impact and success that God defines and determines. Conversation with God is prayer; our writing, sculpture, or dance may be part of that conversation. We may do art that glorifies God, satisfies us, and pleases the audience. Christ has made us able.
