In December 1977 the author of this memoir encountered a Japanese woman on the streets of Boston whose simple question "Do you believe in God?" initiated a life-changing process that transformed him from a shy introverted young man into someone who became a public speaker and took up various leadership positions in both the United States and Russia. As a result, he: has been to 51 countries in the world.has traveled to 36 of America's 50 states.has with his wife a combined 21 brothers and sisters.and his wife learned to catch giant bluefin tuna.pastored churches in New York City and Denver.was living in the Soviet Union at the time of its collapse in 1991.was in Samoa in the South Pacific at the time of the 9/11 attacks.became principal of a private school for 21 years.Most of all, it led him to dedicate his life to God, our Heavenly Parent, not simply as an individual but together with his family. He came to understand God's longing desire to realize His ideal on the earth and that its fulfillment requires our coming to resonate with God's parental heart to love and embrace all His children. Our highest calling is to become instruments of God's will to bring about the realization of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.
