A gem

Nicole Sotelo's book has an inegious tripartite structure weaving refletions, readings from scripture and prayer in a way that probes the deep structures and metaphors in the bible. Sotelo's writing is disarmingly simple and heartfelt -- a gentle guide through the process of reconstituting oneself after trauma. In my mind, this is among the best books on the subject i have read.
