Many times women and young girls find it challenging to identify who they truly are. Some many women and young girls have been labeled by others that they find themselves living up to the label. Some women and you girls also find it challenging to recognize their assets (strengths and positive qualities) but have no trouble identifying their liabilities (imperfections and flaws). I believe it is critical for women and young girls to recognize early that they have so much to offer the world. A woman of great substance is someone who recognizes she is resourceful, powerful, and is willing to share what she knows to empower mankind. How can a woman or a young girl recognize her substance (s)? By simply looking from within herself and around her environment she will find her substance, that which is real or practical in quality, character, or material possessions. This journal is a guide to help women and young girls recognize their gifts, talents, strengths, capabilities, skills, and resources.
