Best buy for the buck

I originally bought "A Woman Doctor's Diet For Women" in the 80's and loved it. I lost 20 lbs. with no difficulty, was never hungry and it was so simple to follow, perfect for women. I loaned the book to someone many years ago and now bought myself another copy of Dr. Edelstein's book. I know I will again achieve the needed results without worrying about my health being affected by poor advice by a wannabee diet guru. Janice Bird

Best way of eating for women ever!

Best diet/way of eating for women after we get to "that stage". Plenty of good food and an immediate weight loss noticed.....with great compliments. This book has never gone out of style.

It works!

The reasons for dieting are many, and there are many diets that work for one person or another. This one was great for me. I am a middle-aged diabetic female, and have had problems all my life with my weight, this was the first and still most workable version of a low-carb diet I have tried. It is a fairly disciplined approach, although not as complex as some of the later diets. I found it easy to follow, easy to understand, and above all, successful, having lost over 70 pounds and keeping it off!

easy , healthy diet

I used this diet to help with my high blood pressure. I lost 40 pounds in 4 months and I felt wonderful. The first two weeks were hard, but after that, it was wonderful. I am getting ready to read the book and go on the diet again.

Great Easy Diet

I have used this diet a couple of times since the 70's, and have lost up to 30-40 lbs in 3 months on it. Now it has been 10 years, and I have lost my copy of the book, just when I need it again. Actually I probably loaned it to someone.
