What are we?

In 2087, humanity lives divided within the very architecture of its being. At adolescence comes the Division-splitting each person into past and present, the Former and the Aware. From the Aware emits the Outer, a bio-digital projection of the self. And beneath it all lies the Further, a spiritual field shaped by every wound, every joy, every memory. Some Futhers heal. Some protect. Some become weapons. Most remain unseen.

For Lee, and the rest of humanity, this is life. And it always has been.

But his life is changing. His Outer shows intermittent damage, the result of altercations with his partner. His Further shifts under the weight of years of conflict.
