Not the Popular Parenting Method but the Biblical One

Everywhere you turn today practically you hear the message "do NOT spank" and "spanking leads to violence," etc. etc. Abuse leads to violence, but Biblical spanking/discipline does not. This book helps explain what the Bible actually says about discipline and spanking. It helps explain why children behave the way they do and what our responsibility as parents is in disciplining our children. As with all books, read with discernment and always keep the Bible as the ultimate authority not man's experience/opinion/advice.

Good book!

This book deals with how and why we should discipline according to God's Word. It also cautions us to check our reasons and attitude when we are disciplining. Focus is given on using God's word and showing His Authority to our children. An index of common discipline problems along with appropriate scriptures are given. This is a good companion to Shepherding a Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp.
