Sensational

I wait a long time for this book and when it arrived yeasterday, I read it in one day. Ms. Kim you have really out done yourself with this book and this series. I loved Morgan and Van story. This is one book I would read over and over again. I am sad to see the Allgoods go, but it was fun while it lasted. To everyone who has not read the book or the series please read it. The first book in the series is "Destiny's Songs" Xavier story. I promise you you will not be disappointed. Renee'

Love Conqures All

Morgan Allgood, is nearing forty and the end of her modeling career. While in Chicago on a work assignment and to design and make her sister's wedding gown, she begins contemplating changes in her career and personal life. Meteorologist, Van McNeil is a storm chaser. And he's in Chicago to attend a conference on what else, the weather. Van is also known as a player and he's not ready to rip up his player card. Or is he? Van has been fantasizing about Morgan since childhood, when they met briefly on the set of a commercial they were both shooting. Morgan has never forgiven him for standing her up on their first date, a year ago. A chance meeting brings Morgan and Van back into each others lives. Before leaving Chicago they spend one lustfully, passionate night together. Van's fantasies are finally a reality. And the reality is, she rocked his world. Can he let her walk out of his life, again? As for Morgan, well let's just say he had her singing, real loud. Will she be able to stop her mind from replaying that night over and over? When Morgan's flight is canceled due to a high security alert at the airport, Van offers to drive her to Atlanta, which she reluctantly accepts. It's during this road trip that they begin to face their true feelings for each other. Will Morgan be able to see beyond his reputation as a player and see Van as a man who wants to love only her? I suggest you buy the book and go along for the ride. And what a funny, hot and adventurous ride it is. This is the fourth story in the Allgood series and in my opinion the best. I smiled and laughed a lot while reading this book. And you will too. Hopefully this is not the end of this series, because Morgan has to have a wedding gown too. This is Miss. Louise's first time venturing in romantic comedy and I say a job well done.

U Did It Again Kim

Morgan Allgood had Van McNeil's heart from the first time he saw her and that's why he was never truly able to love any other woman. I was glad that Van got his hearts desire and Morgan found true love, they both deserved each other and like her sister Ashley said the were destined to be together. I thought With Open Arms was a fresh, fun read, with lots of humor as well as a few intensely intimate moments. There are quite a few scenes that will stay in my mind, like Verleen banishing Morgan to Van's room, the two of them locked in the freezer and Van's unique way of keeping them warm, the men's little talk with Van, but most of all the way he made her sing and she made him beg. Kim Louise is a 5 star author who provides a first class work, thanks for letting me be a part of Gordon and Ashley's great day and seeing the rest of the Allgood's again.

They Made It

The one thing I didn't like about WITH OPEN ARMS is that it is possibly the last of the Allgood series, unless Kenyon's brother gets his own story then maybe we can get an invite to Van and Morgan's wedding. Van and Morgan had history that she didn't remember but he never forgot. The story takes us back to the day chubby child actor Donovan McNeil first laid eyes on cute little Morgan Allgood at a commercial shoot, for the captivated Donovan time stood still and a piece of his heart would forever remain frozen to that moment. Morgan "the beautiful sister" has had a successful if not phenomenal modeling career. Her lifestyle allows her to date a variety of men from actors to music artist but Morgan's silent desire is to have "someone special" to share her life with. Van McNeil is no longer the "fat kid" actor but a sexy and handsome TV Weatherman at the top of his craft as well as the top fantasy for many women viewers. After their disastrous first date Morgan and Van have avoided one another eventhough his best friend Gordon and her sister Ashley are about to be married. Morgan has a talent for clothes designing and makes the family's wedding dresses, it is getting that creation to her sister in time for the wedding that is the start to the road trip from hell that causes her and Van to face the deep feelings they have for one another. I never felt Van was commitment-phobic, he wanted Morgan but fear and pride kept him from revealing the extent of what lay in his heart for her. I didn't think the dress was what Morgan was holding back, but her heart and the control she felt she might lose to a man with Van's reputation. Their road to love was funny, and sometimes dangerous, but for me it was an enjoyable ride. As always in Kim's books I find characters I hope to read about again, Brax is one of them. Kudos Kim, your work and talent continue to grow.

The Best book Yet Simply Marvalous

I did not think that Ms. Louise could do better than Alove of there own then she came out with a 5 star anthology(Can I get A Amen) After reading a Love of their own She came out With Open Arms This is truly the most funniest heart wrenching story that kept me on the edge of my seat it was so good that I refused to go to bed until I finished reading it Cannot wait until the next book so that they can get Married. By then we will need to find out more about the mysterious Braxton and who else is left in the Algood family to marry. I have all 11 of your books unfortunely they only allow 5 stars for review this book is a 10+ keep up the good work Regina Hightower
