Enriching and Profound

I found this book to be a delightful read, filled with stories and examples to "bring home" the Principles described. It is a unique book, in that the authors ask us to read looking for insights, rather than intellectual understanding. It is clearly written, easily read, and yet amazingly rich. Most striking are the examples of people in dire situations (prisons, communities riddled with crime and drugs, etc.) who have turned their lives and communities around once they began to tap into their own inner wisdom, through learning about the Principles. The authors also give examples of corporate executives, educators, and other professionals who have similar life-changing experiences. They describe a phenomenon which is happening in places throughout the country and the world, quietly but with deeply positive, lasting results. As people find an understanding of the Principles behind how we experience life, they become wiser and are able to see from a higher perspective. Herein lies the hope for all of humanity to live in harmony and peace. This book helps us see that such a world is possible.

I have read many books on self improvement and spirituality. This book is the only one I would keep if I were being sent to a desert island.
