A window to their world

With several friends joining the Corps, I've heard a bit about OCS and the candidates' life during training, but not enough to understand it. Wings of Gold has given their comments a reality. By following the life of a young Marine, his trials and triumphs, this book is a great help to anyone seeking to better understand what our boys face. Because the focus is on Sam's growth as a Christian, it is a wonderful character builder as well. Since reading this, I have been personally challenged in my faith and now have even more respect for those who dedicate their lives to defending our country.
