Wynhaven Plantation Series

These books make up the best series of book I've read. It is historical fiction at its best. The book starts in France durimg the revolution and moves to Alabama. The stories and characters are riveting. It includes the best record of the Chircago fire I've read. I believe the first 100 years covers 11 books. The author died before she could finish the series. I was heartbroken Fantastic love stories as well as fictional accounts of American history.
