Exellent Book

Excellent serious study book to prepare for a CPA test. Very informative and well prepared.

Far better than any accounting textbook. If you've already taken the introductory courses in accounting, start working on these exams. It's worth it.

Best thing I did

I thought this review book was more than enough to prepare me to pass the AUD section of the CPA exam. I didn't take any review courses, just read the book and went over all the MC questions and simulations. Would definitely recommend, especially since it's so much cheaper than taking a review course.

Wiley CPA Exam Review 2007 Auditing and Attestation

This is the study guide for people who are taking the auditing course or who practice the review course for CPA exam The question is a little bit hard but the solution in the back of the book.

Disadvantages of Self-Study

Wiley's books are useful, but not suitable for a complete review. I found them to contain more information than was necessary. They did, however, contain a multitude of old CPA Examination questions. This was useful, but I feel that these books need to be used in conjunction with a reputable CPA Review Course. Test taking skills are not discussed in depth, as well as the confidence instilled by a review course.
