It changed my life

This little childern's book changed my life!!! I got it for my daughter on the advice of my cat-crazy sister. My sister asked me to also read it. I am over 50 and I wasn't very keen on rading a "children's book" ... But my sister just asked me to trust her and read it. I did read, and surprisingly, I did not have to force the reading. It was interesting from the very beginning. However, more interesting than the reading (some would even say - unbelievable) was the impact that this book had on my persona. -- My life changed from neglect and drunkenness to total soberness (at least for the time being). I must confess that I had a drinking problem for many years, although I would admit it neither to myself nor to anyone around me. As a result of this problem I've lost my job, and my driver's license. Somehow, while reading this "children's book" I realized that my life is like of that man in the story, named Stranger, the smelly drunkard who caught Rascal and his friends, who loved alcohol more than his wife and his children... Maybe it was the Christmas spirit (first time sober); maybe I just needed one more drop of something cheerful and positive in my life... maybe it was the spark of positive thought and unconditional love hidden between the sentences of this book... Who knows? Does it really matter? I also read Book 2 and Book 3 from the series which I also find equally interesting. Check them out for yourself especially if you have children and love animals, as I do.

So much fun......

Even though I have a hard time reading because I have a learning disability, I still love finding out what Rascal's up to because he's so much fun!!! Teagan, 12 years old.

A fun read for all ages

This is one of those books that can be enjoyed by readers of all ages. The only drawback for adults who read this book - is that you will find it such an enjoyable and easy read that you'll be done and wanting more before you know it. I look forward to more Rascally adventures from this author.

Why some cats are Rascals

Who said that this book was only for children? I'm an adult (65 years old) and I still enjoy reading it. The positive energy just jumps out of those pages. There are plenty of interesting ideas. I've read it from cover to cover and I'm looking for more stories about Rascal and his companions. Captain Pawel Nowicki, Canada .
