An inquisitive, 6-year-old only child, Ian, has the best toys and a puppy everybody loves. Yet, he struggles to share with friends. Ian's mom overhears the neighbor boy, Seth, telling Ian he does not share. A few later, while baking cookies, she looks out the kitchen window several times, only to see Ian and Peanut jumping on the trampoline, while Seth, watches from the ground.

When Ian's teacher gives each student an assignment to help the community, Ian is excited to help out, but he realizes he is all alone. Ian never really cared to share his toys or trampoline and he realizes he does not have any good friends to share with. Ian thinks of an idea that could solve this problem of no friends and he asks his mom if he could use his new trampoline to help his local community center out. Mrs. Miller, Ian's mother, suggests a jump-a-thon and she agrees to donate $1 for every minute Ian and his freinds can jump. Ian and Peanut set out to talk his neighbor Seth and school classmates into helping him with his idea. Will Ian and Peanut succeed in getting others to help?
