The story of Pompalomps and Pompalinka was inspired by two horses that were icons of the small Cape Town suburb of Camps Bay, and the stories my dad used to tell us when we were kids growing up in Camps Bay. Pompalomps was different to all other donkeys because he liked to swim. His best friend Pompalinka tried to change him, but being different leads Pompalomps to many escapades.
