Why oh why can't I?

Do you remember Tom and Manny from my series, Coming Out In
the 60s? They were the straight athletes who discovered they loved each
other. Maybe you've wondered what happened to them. They were torn
apart when Manny was drafted and sent to Vietnam. Ten years later, Tom
is a psychology professor at the University of Oregon and is married to a
woman named Susan, who has been frigid in their marriage for ten years.
Manny is returned from Vietnam and is an out gay man teaching at UCLA,
singing in the gay men's chorus and is decidedly promiscuous.
Then, Tom is joined at U of O by Zeke Walker and Red Scaramagno,
from my The Whole Person series. They are married and both pursuing
doctorate degrees in clinical psychology at the University of Oregon, where
their academic advisor is Dr. Tom Keliher.
The tension in the book is around Tom and Manny. Will they find each
other? Are they still in love? And if so, what will happen to Tom's marriage
to his frigid wife, Susan?
