Switched at Birth leads to love

Lynn Chanak and Adam Landry are the single parents of Shelly and (Jenny) Rose. They did not know each other, and probably would not have if not for a series of unfortunate events. Lynn and her former husband do not see eye to eye about their daughter Shelly. He thinks that Lynn must have had an affair because Shelly does not look like him. To combat his allegations Lynn has Shelly's blood tested. It turns out that Shelly does not have the same blood as either of them. After some soul searching and an investigation into the baby switch Lynn finds that Shelly is really the biological daughter of Adam Landry and his first wife Jenny (who was in a comma and died shortly after the birth of her baby) and Rose the daughter Adam had been raising looked a lot like Lynn. After the first couple get togethers where their is some chemistry between Lynn and Adam they encounter some problems. One of the problems was the distance between the two (they lived several hours from each other.) The other is Adam's former in-laws who want to get to know their biological granddaughter and would do anything to get her. Over Christmas Adam figures out a solution to the problems, get married. It is a marriage in name only, but soon it turns into a love match. A very good book by a great author.

aboslutely wonderful

I didn't know this author but after reading this book I'm searching for her others. The story is about two babies switched at birth: the writing is great and I actually had to put the book down two or three times especially at the beginning because it was so emotionally intense. Anyone who has had a child in a hospital can relate to the characters' dilemma. I really recommend it

UNUSUAL STORY AND GOOD WRITING!

She's a great writer - and again I'm amazed at the level of some of Harlequin's authors - interesting concept from the news these days of switched babies at birth - I've ordered more of her books! Check out - Blind Spot - RS with environmental theme

Best Romance of the Year!

What a fabulous book! I couldn't put it down for even a second. If you want a great book to read, this is just what you've been looking for. The story is about two people Lynn and Adam who discover that the hospital made a mistake several years ago and mixed up their babies. Now,these two strangers are going to get married. This is really a great book, and I would recommend it to anyone.

An Original Concept!

This book is based on the case of babies being switched at the hospital - a terrifying thought for most parents. This concept is original and was well done indeed. I very much enjoyed this book and so did my brother.
