Egg is missing its mom. It's a mommy mystery, and she is nowhere to be found. Sure, there is a friendly crustacean who is egg-sitting, but it would be nice to know who (and what ) mommy is. Of course, it would help Egg figure out its own identity as well. Egg imagines all kinds of mommies, from a unicorn to a mermaid--even an alien and more -- thinking about who she might be and the qualities she might have. With suspense and humor, the book celebrates moms, and asks us consider all the qualities needed to be a great mom. In the end, what's going to come out of the egg, and will it get crackin' before mommy comes back? We'll have to read it to find out
