Great accompaniment to children's literature

This book has short, readable chapters that discuss authors and characters of children's literature classics. I was charmed to read not only about the real Christopher Robin, but also about the authentic stuffed animals that inspired the Pooh stories. The collection includes a biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder and the story of Lewis Carroll and his little friend, Alice. Engagingly written, a real delight to read!
