Who Is Deloris Napoleon Shaw?

By Justin Jones

Barry March, an aging and broke freelance writer, has a chance of a lifetime when he wins a contest to interview Deloris Napoleon Shaw, the mysterious widow of Wade Wayne, a famous novelist who was murdered twenty years ago. Initially a suspect in her husband's case, Deloris has never granted an interview and refuses to cooperate with the recently assigned cold case team.

Barry sees the interview as a quick way to make big money. With the renewed interest and intrigue surrounding the case, Barry equates the interview with Deloris to Oprah interviewing Lance Armstrong, or maybe Michael Jackson. Everyone wants to know everything about Deloris.

But Deloris has different ideas for Barry. She's capable of more than anyone imagined, and she's chosen Barry for something far beyond his writing prowess that will lead him on a wild, zigzagging journey full of plot twists, shocking events, and mysteries exposed.
