Clear and Heartfelt

This book expanded my thought processes so that I am focusing more on the forest and less on the trees of old pain, hurt, betrayal and other negative emotions. My new perspective has given me more peace of mind. The book is a wealth of information compiled in an easy to read fashion with great examples to back up the author's words!

A Great Gift Idea - Don't Miss Out!

Joseph Cavanaugh's Who Am I, Really? is a refreshing approach to self help/psychology. He uses beautiful quotes, hilarious illustrations and profound text to illustrate and teach how self-esteem and self-awareness dictate how we view the world. The book starts out discussing the very nature of consciousness and then addresses the life results that occur when we lose touch with the bigger, more important picture. The best part? The illustrations MAKE YOU LAUGH while giving you the necessary tools to to lead a more peaceful existence!

Outstanding and Fun

Who Am I, Really? touches on so many profound subjects in such a simple, practical way. This book looks at the nature of consciousness, the bigger picture, and then addresses the drama that results when we lose touch with that bigger picture. Using cartoons to illustrate the text, the author lets us laugh at ourselves while simultaneously grasping the deeper message of the text. It is written in a language accessable to everyone, touching on such key issues as self-awareness and acceptance and compassion in developing a healthy personal identity.

Refreshing approach to self-awarenness

Resisting the temptation to resort to the usual therapist phycho-babble, Family Therapist and artist, Joe Cavanaugh has come up with a humorously illustrated 'how to' instruction manual for healing many of our self-inflicted wounds --- Destined to become a well-thumbed addition to any self-awareness library..
