With its assumption that users have at least a little HTML and graphics knowledge under their belts already, "Whiz Bang Web Site F/X" does a decent job of enumerating all the "cool and powerful" goodies at hand necessary to create a dazzling Web site. To be sure, not a whole lot of new ground is tilled here, but author Tom Lockwood's enthusiasm and in-depth sections on tables and frames, as well as a handy Windows/Mac CD-ROM (HotMetal HTML Assistant, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Arena Design VRML Editor, GIF Construction Set, Shareware Library) assure a valuable read and worthy trip nevertheless. The "F/X" here may not be world class, but they certainly won't put you to sleep.
