Get back to the basics!

This book will put you back in the days when deer hunting was not all about the perfect equipment and fuss of today's "hurry-up" deer hunting. Mattis provides wonderful insights on deer behavior and successful techniques that our hunting society used to bag their trophy from the 1920's on. It is best to get back to the basics before you fall for all of the mumbo-jumbo in on the shelves of sporting goods stores at the present. No mimics, no gimics! The best general deer hunting book offered to the new generations....hands down. A great book for the beginner and advanced deer hunter. The original copy was published in 1969, with follow-ups (editing)in 1980 and 2002. The most modern is published by Krause Publications.
