Mending Hearts

This story is about two adopted children, Dennie and Thes from Chili, who are adopted into a loving home. Dennie feels safe in her new enviornment, but Thes is haunted by his early childhood. He always tests the limits and does things that his family wishes he didn't do. After his death each member of the family blames themself. Once they learn the truth of the accident, their hearts begin to mend. Martha's Freedom Train
