Sugar and Spice are two cute Shi Tzu twin dogs (Brother and Sister). They have lots of friends that cause them to get involved in many adventures. Book-1 in this series involves their best friend Niki. He's a snowbird and as the summer months approach in Florida, his mom takes him back home to Michigan. Sugar and Spice don't understand where he went, and when they finally find out, they create a plan to go visit him. The two twin Shi-Tzu dogs were born of the same litter and are as close as human twins. Spice is the alpha dog and her brother Sugar is the lover. Every morning, these two cute but spoiled Shi Tzu's wait just inside their glass front door, looking out and waiting for their buddy Niki to come over. They wait for hours, but it is worth it to them. Once Niki gets to their house, all three dogs run out to the back patio and assume their positions. Sugar stands on his hind legs in front of Niki's mom. Spice sits in front of her mom and Niki stands up beside Spice and sings. When he finishes singing, they all get cookies. Later that afternoon, many of their buddies meet at the dog park for Yappy-Hour and for treats. The humans love it because they get to Yap, and the dogs love it because they get to see all their buddies. "Where do Snowbirds go" is just one of many adventures Sugar and Spice encounter. This story is about what happens when their normal routine changes and their buddy goes back up north for the summer. The two Shi-Tzu's know something is not right, but they don't know what it is. Once they find out that Niki has left for the summer, they decide to create a plan that will help them travel to see him again. However, they soon realize that fooling their owners was not such a good idea.
