WHERE CORBEAUX FLY is a collection of ten short stories that are comical as they are tragic. Set on the Caribbean island of Trinidad during the 1960s, the overall theme of death weaves its ominous presence through each story. Though, characters such as Son-Son, Trevor, Boyzie, Anim and Teeths, bring a humourous touch and a bit of laughter amidst the darkness that hovers.

Each story introduces characters that will feel familiar- reminiscent of a longtime neighbour, tanty or friend; each place, a reminder of the ole time days. The feeling of nostalgia can be felt throughout, as readers will journey to Matura, San Rafael, and Ranch Quemado-to name a few, visiting villages, people, and a way of life, that still live on in memory.
