Where are you from?
I used to answer without thinking.
Now, I hesitate.
Where Are You From, Really? is a deeply personal reflection on identity, belonging, and the quiet ways everything can change without you realizing it. I grew up between Canada, Lebanon, and Syria, moving through a life that once felt clear and stable, where the answer to that question seemed obvious.
It wasn't.
