Steve Brown writer, Theological Professor, and radio host mixes just the right amount of Biblical direction and humor to get the point across, you are not alone. The book takes the reader down that lonesome road and delivers you to that place where if you are willing, even in the darkest times, you will know the presence of God. By using the biblical story of Job Steve Brown shows the reader that all the platitudes and good intentions in the world, sometimes, just don't make you feel any better. But, the pay off in this book is that Christ through his suffering knows your suffering and does not abandon you. If you have days when you just wonder why even get out of bed and if you do why continue on automatic pilot then When Your Rope Breaks by Steve Brown might be just the tonic for the soul that you need.
