What happens when you pray sincerely, do your best, wait patiently-and the obstacle still does not move?
A career remains stuck. A promotion goes to someone else. The same difficult patterns follow you from one workplace to another. Family responsibilities become heavier. Relationships leave unfinished questions. Marriage prospects appear and disappear. Fear of rejection turns into years of waiting. After divorce, the possibility of beginning again brings a different fear: What if the same story repeats itself?
When God Doesn't Remove the Obstacle explores the difficult seasons in which faith does not immediately change our circumstances.
Through realistic stories of work, family, marriage, divorce, responsibility, fear, pride, boundaries, and second chances, the book reflects on spiritual ideas such as karma, karma bandhan, rinanubandha, dharma, free will, surrender, and detachment.
But it asks a deeper question: What if every obstacle is not simply something to escape?
Sometimes the person must change jobs. Sometimes a relationship needs a boundary. Sometimes waiting is necessary. Sometimes waiting has quietly become inaction. Sometimes pride disguises itself as self-respect. Sometimes fear of another disappointment prevents a new beginning.
And sometimes we may never know whether a difficulty came from karma, circumstance, another person's choices, our own patterns, or something beyond our understanding.
The more important question may be:
What is mine to do now?
This is not a book about blaming every hardship on past-life karma or assuming suffering is punishment. It is about looking at life's difficult patterns with greater awareness while recognizing that spiritual belief does not remove personal responsibility.
Because perhaps God's presence is not measured only by how quickly an obstacle disappears.
Sometimes grace removes the obstacle.
Sometimes grace reveals another road.
And sometimes grace changes the person who must walk through it.
