A Touching Story.

I could not put down "When Angels Sing." The story was so well written and would touch the coldest heart. It will have particular meaning for anyone who has ever faced Christmas with a broken heart or a grieving spirit. I was warmed by the patience and love shown by the main character's wife. Everyone will be able to relate to someone in this story, and each reader will come away with a renewed feeling of hope.

I don't know how long it has been since I have read a new Christmas story and felt that I was reading a classic my great grandchildren would be reading. Moving, beautiful, sensitive, enduring, these are some of the words that come to mind. Buy yourself a Christmas present and curl up before the roasting chestnuts. Without giving anything away, this is a delightful story about Christmas and about family, about sibling relationships,and about the magic inside us all.

This little book is a sweet and soulful Christmas tale about loss, redemption and the power of hope. How do we let go of the sorrows of the past and embrace the present moment? How do we give our families the true gifts of this season? Turk Pipkin has written a lovely fable that answers those questions. He has also done the impossible and created a Los Angeles filled with Christmas cheer. I received this book as a gift and I intend to return the favor and send along a sleigh full to my family and friends.
