"As Above, So Below" -- Practical tools for understanding our 4-body system

This edition is the original publication of Rosslyn Bruyere's fine work. It was titled 'Volume 1,' which indicates that a greater volume of work was planned. I have only seen this one book by Bruyere, and, to me, it is a wonderful complement to Barbara Brennan's 'Hands Of Light.' Each book deals with the same basic material, but each healer/researcher takes the material in slightly different directions. Rosslyn Bruyere is perhaps the better teacher of the two. Her explanations, diagrams, and exercises give a thorough and clear introduction to the chakras. It is a wonderful starting place but also a book to return to again and again, giving more each time. Here is a part of the description from the back of this initial edition of Bruyere's book so that you know a bit more what to expect: 'Wheels of Light: A Study of the chakras' explores the "subtle energies" within. This multi-volume work represents the most comprehensive description of the subtle energy or chakra system ever written. WHEELS OF LIGHT

I was extremely pleased with the content of WHEELS OF LIGHT. I could tell from the start that the author put a lot of thought into every paragraph. Each chakra is historically and metaphysically described. There are helpful exercises for you to do to balance and vitalize the chakras. I especially love the way the author relates chakra "health" to physical and mental health. The illustrations are grand and you'll feel "boned up" on chakras and auras by the time you finish reading this excellent text.

Truly inspiring!

I have read this book numerous times and I learn new things every time. If you're looking for a more peaceful life and intrigued by the power of natural healing. Other great books that I would recommend are; Hands of Light & Creative Visualization. Read with an open mind and enjoy!

A resourceful, insightful introduction to the chakras.

Wheels of Light begins with an introduction to the "mysteries" of the chakras. It reveals the touching story of the Rainbow Warrior who healed and prophesied because he could see the rainbow beyond the rainbow. Color, vibration, and auras are explained in detail. Several chapters unfold the secrets of the chakras in beautiful detail.
