About the Author

Julia Good and her husband adopted Rosie and her three siblings out of the foster system. They have no biological children and this was their first time being parents. They fostered the kids for about three and a half years before officially adopting them in April of 2024. The process was a rollercoaster of emotions but worth every second. They were thrown into parenthood in every aspect, including how to organize schoolwork and activities Julia often felt she was missing important teacher updates while just being caught up in the chaos of their new life.

Julia and her family are now happily growing together. They live in the country and have two dogs and keep very busy with sports and other activities. In her free time Julia loves to make stained-glass art, garden, and travel.
