Book Overview

Dr St Amand offers a protocol to help reverse the autoimmune disorder, fibromyalgia, in children. The program for adults - an alternative treatment using guaifenesinm, a common ingredient in cough medicine - has been adapted for the treatment of children. This inexpensive medication, available over the counter as well as in prescription strengths, has successfully eliminated symptoms in an 90 per cent of Dr St Amand's patients. In this book parents can discover: why pediatric fibromyalgia is often not diagnosed; how to help children cope with symptoms before guaifenesin takes full effect; the link between paediatric fibromyalgia and hypoglycaemia; and guidelines to determine the proper dose of guaifenesin for your child.

Excellent book

This book will give you the basics of what fibromyalgia is and how you can reverse the symptoms in your child with the "guaifenesin protocol", created by Dr. St Amand. If done properly, this protocol has an astonishing 90% success rate! I also found Claudia's book in the "1st year" series very helpful and am ordering WYDMNTYA fibromyalgia fatigue. This doctor is way ahead of his time and I am thrilled to be feeling better and have the opportunity to help my daughter feel better too!

second verse, as good as the first...

They've done it again... an excellent book about a highly underrated subject. I had fibromyalgia as a child and without their help, I don't know where I'd be today. Our children are our future, so why not spare them the symptoms of fibromyalgia. This book is a cutting edge look at how fibromyalgia affects children and, more importantly, how to help them avoid its debilitating effects.
