The book is the first in a series of three adapted from the real life antics of this very funny dog which belonged to the author. The series will take readers through the different stages of owning a pet and how to care for them, it will show them what happens when animals get old and near the end of their lives. In this book Mutley is young and full of beans he lives his life to the full and every day is a different story, he is a dog full of character and remained that way for the whole sixteen years of his life.
