The truth

The vast majority of this book's assertions are true. While virtually every man would deny it if this forum were not anonymous. Men have these attitudes though in all honesty all men do not always act upon them either for religious reasons, cowardice, or simply personal ethics. I bought this book for my daughter after reading a friend's copy. As the Latin saying goes" Caveat Emptor", let the buyer beware...women should also "be aware".

BOOK SPEAKS THE TRUTH & WOMEN NEED TO DEAL WITH IT!!

women love being in denial!! that's why so many of the responses i read were saying that this book was a joke. honey, i've known this stuff for years and did not want to believe it myself because i thought that my presence in a relationship would mean more to a man. what a joke!! i figured out that if a woman does not look like a sex goddess, cook like julia child, and put out like a two dollar whore she will never be able to keep a man in her life for a long time. women want to think that they can tell another woman what a man wants. B.S!! only a man can tell you what he really wants if he even knows. a man will not stay where he does not want to be. this book is necessary for women who want to know the truth and not live in a dream world. the only women who usually object to something like this are women who are really insecure need to believe a lie to have self respect. self respect comes from dealing with reality. a man will not love you on the inside unless he likes what he sees on the outside. appearance is the key. no exceptions!! like it or not it's the truth. women get mad when a man looks at a woman who looks like a tramp. ladies, men like women who look sexy. that's reality. it's not fair to hate another woman because she carries herself in a way that men approve of. men need to feel sexually attracted to a woman to feel alive sometimes. another reality. i loved this book. it was funny and informative and long overdue.there are some nice guys out there but they are few and far in between. a great many of them are hiding from relationships because they too have been burned. it's just a catch 22 situation a lot of times. ladies when you read this book, you will learn what to look for and steer clear of the loser guys out here and save your heart. you'll start seeing thru all the lies and be able to recognize when he's telling you something he thinks you want to hear instead of being honest. this was a good read but most importantly these gentlemen were only being honest in a way that scares other men because their secrets have been revealed finally. hurray for smith and doe!! women finally have more insight and less bewilderment.

This book is the total truth about men!

I found this book to expose the true man that he is. I have been in several long term relationships, I have 2 brothers and dated quiet alot of men and this book was great. You'll will find that all men feel, think, and do the things that are in this book. I have been in a few of the situations this book speaks of and it is a man down to his underwear. He will do everything that this book says he will if he hasn't already done it. You will be shocked! I am so glad that these men wrote this book because women know deep down inside how men really are but we haven't found a man to admit up to it, yet!

This book will save my relationship

At first I was skeptical about this book. I've read all the others, John Gray, Laura Schlesinger and the rest. To my surprise, this book said all the things I know in my heart to be true about men and women. I was afraid at first to discuss it with my husband, because I didn't want to make him angry or defensive. So I just gave it to him and asked him to read it. It was like magic. All the things I had thought about and was afraid to ask were now up for discussion. I felt like someone had shined a bright light on the dark corners of our relationship. We talked about his secretary, who I have had dreams about his falling in love with. She is young and attractive and I used to think if I didn't ever say anything all my fears would go away. But reading Smith and Doe gave me a way to bring up the subject with my husband and now that we have discussed it I feel like I am not out alone on a limb anymore. I really want to say that Smith and Doe have done a great service to men and women in COMMITTED relationships because they have opened the door to discussing those things that women (and I guess men too) are always afraid to bring up. When they write about what women don't want men to know I'll be first on line to buy that one too.

This book is essential knowledge for women

I VEHEMENTLY DISAGREE with the reviews by women who say this book is unnecessary! On the contrary, this book is essential. I am a woman in a seven year relationship -- my husband doesn't cheat, hasn't cheated and, I bet, hasn't considered cheating. But that doesn't mean I don't want the critical information provided by Smith and Doe (at what risk I can only imagine). I need to know WHY men cheat, what makes them do it, why they think they can get away with it... I want my daughter, when she's 16, to have this information as well. Nobody was ever too well-informed when it comes to dealing with this complicated world. For those female reviewers who think they know it all, or simply don't want to know anything, I wish you luck because you're definitely going to need it. For me, give me the truth, give me knowledge, give me power. Thank you Smith and Doe, not only for myself but for my friends who I am buying copies of your excellent book for.
