One of the best dating books I've read

This book is concise and entertaining. As a dating veteran, Molly tells dating stories from her own and her friend's experiences. She will explains what goes through a woman's mind during dating. She then provides what a guy must do to have success with that woman. This is one of the best dating books I've read, a must read for every guy out there.

A "must-read" for today's single man

Funny, the thing that a previous, critical reader had a problem with -- the book's size -- is precisely what I found so charming about it. For its small size (reflected in an appropriately affordable price), it's jam-packed with some pretty high-concentrate guidance. Every sentence is crammed with information and/or insight. Who needs another Bible-sized treatise on dating? Leave the Ivory-Tower psycho-babble to the so-called experts. Molly cuts to the chase. (Clearly, she knows all about men's short attention spans -- you'll roar with laughter at where she recommends men read it... can ya guess?)Though you may initially devour it quickly, don't be surprised to find yourself going back for a refresher -- over and over again. While it's all very well thought-out, the effort and energy that clearly must have gone into writing this book is camouflaged by Molly's delightful, breezy, easy-to-read style. Plus, not only is it all totally real-world... it's HILARIOUS, right from the opening scene. If you don't catch yourself snickering on almost every page... well, maybe you need more help than this tiny tome can offer!I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ms. Ring when I happened to walk into a local book-signing -- which is how I found out about the book. She certainly seems every bit as genuine in person as you'd expect from reading about her single life. (If only the rest of us could muster such a good-sported sense of humor about our own dating debacles....)Thanks for sharing, Molly -- on behalf of men everywhere!

Very encouraging and valuable

Being a somewhat shy kind of person, I find that I'm attracted not only to women, but to books about dating women. Of the half dozen or so such books I've read, this one was two things: the most fun and the most insightful. I don't have time to write an article for the Review of Books here, but some observations: most importantly, the woman who wrote this pointed out and explained things I never thought of or never would have realized, so much so that I feel like I've had more experience dating than I actually do. She's very encouraging and fun, and explained things well, giving just enough examples to make everything crystal clear. Unlike with the other books I've read, I got the feeling that this woman is on the man's side, that she's authentically, personally interested in helping men do better. She's like a really smart (and hilarious) sister-I-never-had who's been through the whole dating thing and is now letting me in on how a real woman thinks, what she wants, and how she reacts to things. Plus, I was either smiling or laughing out loud the whole way through. I read it twice. Changed my whole perspective permanently. I feel braver now and ready to actually go out there and do what a guy's supposed to do. I tried to find out if she's written anything else but no such luck. Five stars.

Pass It On

An accurate account of dating life from a woman's perspective. These types of things have happened to me too, but, I'm not nearly the storyteller that Ms. Ring is. A witty, charming, honest, entertaining and fun expose on dating. A "How-To" book for men - pass it on to your sons, brothers, male friends, nephews - save them from making the same mistakes.

This book is hilarious and full of real life examples which illustrate the dynamics between men and women. As a guy in the dating world, I found this unique glimpse into the female psyche to be extremely helpful. I have tried a few of her suggestions and so far so good. My girlfriend's birthday is coming up in May and I will be taking Molly's advice this year. Molly Ring is a talented writer and engaging story teller. I only wish she'd written this book sooner.
