What A Mess, This Princess Dress

By C J Karpinski

Alana can't wait to wear her beautiful princess dress to her friend's birthday party. It's silky, shiny, and absolutely perfect.

There's just one problem: Alana is supposed to wait until the party to wear it, and one very unfortunate twirl leads to a big stain.

Determined to make her dress perfect again, Alana tries everything she can think of to fix it. She tries one idea after another, only to discover that each attempt seems to make the dress even messier

When Alana finally feels like she's run out of ideas, she discovers something unexpected hiding beneath the mess. Maybe the dress doesn't have to go back to the way it was. Maybe it can become something new, something special, and something uniquely hers.

A playful story with a meaningful message

What a Mess, This Princess Dress is a funny, rhyming picture book for children ages 3-5 that explores:

Perfectionism: Learning that mistakes and imperfections don't mean something is ruined.Resilience: Finding the courage to keep going when things don't work out.Creative problem solving: Trying new ideas and looking at problems from a different perspective.Flexible thinking: Discovering that there can be more than one right way to do something.Self-acceptance: Learning that being a little messy, different, or imperfect can be part of what makes you special.

Perfect for parents, grandparents, teachers, and anyone looking for a fun read-aloud with a message children can carry with them long after the story ends.

Because sometimes the things we think are mistakes turn out to be the things that make us wonderfully, perfectly ourselves.
