This is a very good story ,typical of what many of our young soldiers went through after being severely wounded in combat. This soldier did a remarkable job of moving on with his life and raising a family though left with a severe physical challenge.

Please read the book. Better yet, I encourage you to book randy as a speaker or find a way to hear Randy give his inspiring message. One of the most uplifting motivational messages I have ever heard. What a wonderful man with a loving and caring wife. His story needs to be told over and over again. Randy is indeed a difference maker.

What A Life is a wonderfully inspiring story about a boy who becomes a man as a US Marine. The story of his life is uplifting and should definitely be made into a movie. Randy exemplies what USMC training does for a man and for his country. A MUST READ for everyone.
A Real Hero

Recently, I heard Randy give his personal testimony. At that time, I purchased his book. It truly is the saga of an American hero. Still bound to a wheel chair, Randy exhibits an optimism and a hope that overcomes the tragedy of his physical handicap. This is the type of story that should be made into a movie because all America needs to hear about the "right stuff" that makes up a Marine who loves his country. But, they say the book is always better than the movie so until then I highly recommend reading about Randy's amazing life. His courage and commitment and unselfishness run all the way through his life from boot camp to the battlefield to the hospitals. His encounter with God is a miracle that still prevails to this day.In an age where role models are scarce indeed, Randy Kington gives us his life account for all of us to simply admire. His humility is so touching throughout his remembrances in vivid detail - he really does let you into his heart. This book deserves a standing ovation - What a Life!
