The journey ends with a Christmas steam train ride with Santa aboard where Werther discovers snow for the first time and whispers his Christmas wishes to Santa Claus only to realise the real meaning of Christmas.

The story firmly emphasises the developing heart-warming friendships between the group of quite different friends and reinforces inclusivity throughout.
