Gotta read!!

If you know and love (or love to hate) Wendy Williams the way I do, you must read her books. I COULD NOT put this down! Her life is so interesting and she seems to leave nothing out! Great read, especially for a long plane ride.

Loved it!

This book wasn't about gossip and dirt, things that you'd hear on her radio show, and that's what a lot of people were expecting. Wait for the next book to come out. And don't be cheap and wait for it to come out in paperback either. If I would have known about her first book before coming across it in a book store, I would have gotten it sooner. It was a really good read, and I think Ms. Williams is as in your face and bold as they come and doesn't sugarcoat things, and a lot of people can't seem to handle that. I think she's strong as well, and has overcome a lot, and that is something to be admired. And she never, at no point in the book, comes across as a phony and a fake, unlike a lot of these celebs who will deny deny deny that they've had work done or had substance abuse problems. It's refreshing to see someone so candid and honest about what they've been through. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

OVERCOMING PERSONAL PROBLEMS TO SUCCEED

I have seen Wendy on VH1, and I did not know that she had overcome so many personal problems--drug addiction, miscarriages, etc. etc. She is interesting to me because she is a mixture of upper class and street. She will say "to whom" and "not this nor that" and then she will also use language such as the B word and the N word. If you like Joan Rivers, you will like Wendy's In Your Face style. I was touched by her tales of being a Big Body Girl and her miscarriages. And what she has had to do to make it (stuck in traffic--park her car and WALK thru the Lincoln Tunnel.) Buy this book and enjoy it for what it is -- real life soap-opera fun.

LOVED IT!!!!

Wendy's book was EXCELLENT!!! By far much better than I ever expected. I thought she was going to write a trash novel "dishing the dirt." Which would have been no more than tabloid trash - and quite frankly - how much dirt could she have really dished without being accused of slander? This book was quite the opposite. Wendy gave us an inside look at her life. I also liked the way that it was written - in the same manner that Wendy speaks. It was an easy read - and I have so much more respect for the person that I hear on the radio every day. She is REAL!!! I can recall several excerpts that had me laughing out loud and some that brought me to tears. The book contained exactly what I wanted to learn about - WENDY!!!!I can't say enough good things about the book....
