an intelligent, insightful man

Edward R. Pierre, the author, lived his life fully and taught seminars on metallurgy all over the world. He is considered the best in his field. Mr. Pierre fathered four children, and each of them grew up to be an independant thinking adult, secure in his teachings to them to always think it through, never let your mind be controlled by others and be true to your passion. Mr. Pierre was a charismatic, warm man who made a strong impression on anyone who sat in his classes or interacted with him. The mother of his children, his true love Gina, teamed with him to bring their children the wonders of the world, to experience it fully engaged. Even the not so pleasant aspects. Shibumi, or Grace Under Pressure. His books, all in the Library of Congress, have helped others the world over. His legacy lives on through his children, who have passed his lessons on to their children. A gentle, creative man who will never be forgotten.
