Healthy Nutrition in a Nutshell

What an awesome book! Deborah Enos's nutritional nuggets have helped me lose 36 pounds in 8 months by making small changes to my diet. The format of the book is easy, fast, and fun to read and is chocked full of useful information. If you're someone who likes the facts in a nutshell as much as I do, you'll love Weight a Minute! This is the best wellness book I've come across. Again and again I find myself referring back to the wealth of helpful data laid out in such an accessible format. The information on sugar substitutes, curbing sugar cravings, boosting brain function, fiber, and phytonutrients has been especially useful to me. I can't recommend the book highly enough. Clever, educational and humorous. I read the whole book twice and followed the nutritional advice...while I laughed. I am losing a pound a week (so far 5 lbs) and have more energy, sleep better and eat less! What a fabulous book.

The perfect, thorough and concise book on health!

My wife and I have read so many of the health books that are on the market. But this one has really stood out to us. Each chapter is designed so that you can read it in 1 minute. It is perfect for the busy business person or the busy mom. You can pick it up and know that it will only take 1 minute to acquire some ideas that can help change your life. I love the content of this book! I have highlighted things on almost every page. Deborah has really done her research. I've learned new ideas in this book that I have never heard anywhere else before. She has a great insight into the world of a busy person. She has so many ideas on how to incorporate health into a busy life-style. My wife and I are already doing so many of the things that she has suggested. I will always keep it handy as a reference for the future. A couple ideas from the book that we are already implementing are-doing standing push-ups against the counter when in the kitchen (my wife does this when she is cooking) -eating more vitamin C (she has a whole chapter on how much our bodies NEED vitamin C) -eating our meals in a well lit room (soft lighting or no light, like a movie theater can cause you to eat way more calories). It seems like every page is filled with so many good ideas. I am excited to find a health book that is easy to read and really gets to the point! If you are looking for a book that is short, super concise, thorough, funny, readable language, super practical, and minimal to no technical medical terms, look no further.
