Incredible Internet Marketing resource for authors

I'm an Online Business Coach, and I was blown away when I got my copy of Patrice-Anne Rutledge's new book, The Web-Savvy Writer. She takes readers by the hand and walks them through the foreign and often confusing world of Internet Marketing and explains the concepts in plain English with great step-by-step plans to help authors implement these strategies in their book marketing campaigns. The greatest kudos that I can give this book is that I actually learned about some new resources and a new strategy or two here. I'm pretty well-versed on most Internet Marketing strategies, so when I find a great resource that adds to my knowledge base rather than repeats information that I already know, the resource goes to the top of my recommendation list. I've recommended this book to a number of my clients and colleagues, few of whom are authors. Why? Because the quality of the info provided is useful for ANYONE with an online business.

A Very Informative And Useful Book

As the author of a book about how to sell books online, I was already very well versed in the various marketplaces and listing both used and new books for sale, but I felt like something was missing in how I was marketing my own book. Patrice has put together a very well organized and well written book that is sure to help any author promote their work. I am an engineer and an online bookseller, not a savvy online marketer, but with the approach to marketing online that Patrice has put in her book, I feel I have a much better understanding of how to promote my own book. Now all I have to do is find the time to implement more of her suggestions. If you just finished your own book, or are nearing completion, I encourage you to purchase this book, particularly if you are wanting to promote your book online. I have already implemented a few of the suggestions in Patrice's book and realized increased traffic to my website and a higher Google page rank. For the price, you really cannot go wrong.
