Every family has its skeletons...

Flashing between past and present, this is the story of three generations of a family torn apart by both prejudice and natural disaster. The love, lies and tragedy that make up the fabric of this family make for a moving, captivating, and (surprisingly) a relatively `light' read. I loved it.
